During the refurbishment process as many parts as possible are reused from other bicycles.<\/p>\n<p>In most cases, the bikes need some new parts. We work with local bike stores and the internet to keep costs down. Any costs incurred are limited to $50.00 per bicycle<\/p>\n<p>Any of the bikes that don\u2019t pass inspection will be dismantled. Functional parts are used to refurbish other bikes.<\/p>\n<p>Any parts that are not functional are recycled through various recycling organizations, thus keeping recyclable material from landfills.<\/p>\n<p>The metals go to local recycling facilities.
